The play, directed by Karen Carpenter, is about clothes and the memories they trigger. Tyne Daly, Rondi Reed, Rita Wilson, Samantha Bee and Becki Newton have been announced and confirmed for the February 23rd reading.

Marin Theatre Company is pleased to present the world premiere of Magic Forest Farm by Zayd Dohrn, winner of the first annual Sky Cooper New American Play Prize in 2008. The production will be staged in MTC's 99-seat Lieberman Theatre. From one of America's hottest young playwrights comes a riveting story of a young woman's desperate search for her past. Seventeen year-old Allegra is beginning to piece together the swirling memories of her early years in the beautiful woods of Northern California on a mystical commune called Magic Forest Farm. Mixing with joyous recollections of waterfalls and wildflowers are darker revelations and startling images of the people she thinks she trusts most. A journey begins that takes Allegra back to the commune, back to the past, to confront the truth.

Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron's new play 'Love, Loss, and What I Wore' will be given six benefit readings on Monday evenings, starting on February 2nd. The play, directed by Karen Carpenter, is about clothes and the memories they trigger. It is based on the book of the same name by Ilene Beckerman. The play is currently in development. The cast of five women will alternate each week and will be revealed at curtain time. Already set and committed to perform (based on scheduling) are: Tyne Daly, Blythe Danner, Kristen Johnston, Sarah Jones, Rosie O'Donnell, Parker Posey, Karyn Quackenbush, Rondi Reed, Kristen Schaal, Marlo Thomas, and Joyce Van Patten.

The B Street Theatre presents WIT by Margaret Edson Pulitzer Prize winning play continues B Street Theatre's hit 'B3 Series' The B Street Theatre, Sacramento's professional new works theatre, is pleased to present WIT by Margaret Edson. Winner of the 1999 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, WIT is the third production of the B Street Theatre's 2008-2009 'B3 Series.' WIT is the story of Vivian Bearing, Ph.D., renowned professor of English who has been diagnosed with terminal ovarian cancer. In her study of the metaphysical poems of 17th-century writer John Donne, she is intense and probing yet detached. In her journey through an experimental chemotherapy treatment, Vivian finds insight, humor and humanity. WIT was premiered in 1995 at South Coast Repertory and went on to win the 1999 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Lucille Lortel Award for best play. WIT is the first play by playwright Margaret Edson, who lives in Atlanta where she is an elementary school teacher.
