Westport Country Playhouse's Family Festivities Series will present 'Henry and Mudge,' a musical about a boy and his dog based on the best-selling series of books by Cynthia Rylant, on Sunday, November 15, 1 and 4 p.m. Recommended for grades Pre-K through 3, the show is produced by Theatreworks USA.

Westport Country Playhouse will present 'A Conversation with Playwright David Hare,' whose works include the plays 'Plenty' and 'Stuff Happens,' and the screenplay for the Oscar-winning film 'The Reader,' on Friday, October 16, following the 8 p.m. performance of his play, 'The Breath of Life.' Directed by Mark Lamos, Playhouse artistic director, 'The Breath of Life' features Jane Alexander and Stockard Channing.

Guest speaker will be Susan Balée, who teaches at Temple University.

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop, Artistic Director, and Bernard Gersten, Executive Producer) will present the world premiere of A.R. Gurney's new play THE GRAND MANNER, directed by Mark Lamos, this spring in the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater. Performances will begin Thursday, May 27. Opening night is scheduled for Thursday, June 24.

Westport Country Playhouse will present a Sunday Symposium titled, '?That Championship Season': Rediscovering an American Classic,' following the Sunday, August 30, 3 p.m. matinee performance of 'That Championship Season.' Guest speaker will be Bernard Gersten, executive producer of Lincoln Center Theater and former associate producer of The Public Theater in New York (1960 - 1978), in which capacity he was the associate producer of the original production of 'That Championship Season.'
