Back by popular audience demand, singer and actress Diane Pancel returns in her one-woman musical concert, "Ladies Of Hollywood", on Sunday, October 26, 2014. Ms. Dancel's show will complete the 5th season of the Sundays In Summer Series presented by Les Michaels at the Arthur Newman Theater at The Joslyn Center in Palm Desert. The show, which pays tribute to Doris Day, Judy Garland, and Marilyn Monroe, was a tremendous hit with the audience last season, making it an easy choice to replace Suzy Cadham who was scheduled but had to cancel.

William Inge Center for the Arts Welcomes Karen Carpenter as New Interim Artistic Director

Karen Carpenter, a producer, director and teacher, a theater-maker for more than 30 years, has been appointed the interim Artistic Director of the William Inge Center for the Arts and the 34th Annual William Inge Theatre Festival. The Inge Festival is the Official Theater Festival of the State of Kansas, hosted on the campus of Independence Community College, which houses the William Inge archives.

The Quin hotel has announced the launch of Creative Chaos, a new collection of work from internationally renowned painter, CORNO. Co-curated by Channing Norton of MOCA Miami and DK Johnston of the Arts Fund, the exhibit is presented as part of Quin Arts cultural programming, a multidimensional platform that honors the hotel's artistic history while connecting patrons with distinguished contemporary creators. Creative Chaos opens with an invitation-only reception and artist salon at the Quin today, September 17th and will be on display throughout the month. The lobby-level exhibit is open to the public, September 18 through October 6.
