Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, is pleased to announce the 38 Edgerton Foundation New American Play awards granted to theatres across the U.S. in 2010.

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County and Mad Cat Theatre Company join forces for the first time to present BROADSWORD, the raucous and rollicking play that combines myth, magic, and heavy metal on stage April 29 - May 9, 2010 at the Carnival Studio Theater in the Ziff Ballet Opera House. The Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF), in association with the National New Play Network and the National Center for New Plays at Stanford University, will host the fourth annual MFA Playwrights' Workshop, July 25 to August 2, 2009. Eight playwrights have been invited, selected from 57 Master of Fine Art graduate students nominated by the heads of playwriting programs across the nation.
