The Perry-Mansfield New Works Festival (June Lindenmayer, Executive Director; Andrew Leynse, Artistic Director) has announced casting for the line-up of new works for the 2010 summer festival of theatre and dance at the venerable performing arts school in Steamboat Springs, CO.

The Perry-Mansfield New Works Festival (June Lindenmayer, Executive Director; Andrew Leynse, Artistic Director), with sponsorship from The Harold and Mimi Steinberg Charitable Trust, has announced the line-up for the 2010 summer season of theatre and dance at the venerable performing arts camp and school in Steamboat Springs, CO.

The 34th annual Humana Festival of New American Plays, the nation's pre-eminent and longest-running new play festival, wrapped up on March 28. As with previous years, this year's offerings included a range of works from a slew of emerging and established playwrights. Gordon Cox of Variety takes a look at how the 2010 festival lineup strived to serve a growing regional market of new works.

The 12th Annual New Works Festival is scheduled June 19 - 21 with staged readings of the plays and a special dance presentation.
