Following a piercing expose in The Advocate and two critically-acclaimed, sold-out runs in The South Asian International Performing Arts Festival (where it was named Best Play) and The Midtown International Theater Festival, DMAC-Duo Multicultural Arts Center in association with DMoss Productions will present a limited return engagement of the world premiere of DEATH OF THE PERSIAN PRINCE, a new play that dramatizes the real-life story of thousands of gay Iranians who have changed genders to avoid execution by the Iranian government.

The VH Theatrical Development Foundation announces that after an acclaimed Off-Broadway engagement last fall, FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE! (formerly titled THE BRIGHTNESS OF HEAVEN), a new play by best-selling author Laura Pedersen FROM BUFFALO, will open the 2015-2016 Frey Electric Construction Co. Season at the 710 Main Theatre (formerly Studio Arena Theatre) in Buffalo, New York, with a limited engagement scheduled to play Thursday, September 17 - Sunday, October 4, 2015. Directed by Ludovica Villar-Hauser, FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE! is set in Buffalo, where Ms. Pedersen was born and raised.

'God is a Ford Man' by Philip Paradis is one of five new one-act plays to be showcased at Manhattan Repertory Theatre , as part of Manhattan Rep's August Event today and tomorrow, August 19 and 20th at 6:30 pm. Other plays in the Series A showcase include 'One Patient' by Alaina Hammond, 'Sara's Got a Secret' by John Ladd, 'The Way Things Are Now' by Tyson Duffy, 'Freestylin' by Richard Thomas Henle.

Car Talk, written by Elaine Alexander and directed by Della Freedman was chosen as a finalist for the Manhattan Repertory Theatre's One-Act Playwriting Contest. It is a short one-act comedy that depicts the story of an accountant who goes car shopping with his status seeking fiancee on an expedition to find the perfect car for her, which leads him on the quest to find his true self.
