Luna Stage presents the second installment of its 2012-2013 jazz series, "Music In The Moonlight: An Intimate Evening of Jazz", on Sunday, December 9th at 7pm with a one-night only concert by Brazilian trumpeter, Claudio Roditi. Mr. Roditi will be accompanied by guitarists Roni Ben-Hur and Paul Meyers in a performance of Jazz Turns Samba at Luna Stage, 555 Valley Road in West Orange, NJ 07052.

Luna Stage presents last season's hit holiday show Mi Casa, Tu Casa with a few new surprises. It features a five-member band and a pair of host storytellers who guide their guests through a lively and engaging line-up of folksongs and fables, seasonal poems, holiday musical favorites, and personal anecdotes of family traditions. Even audience members become part of la fiesta in this unique interactive experience.
Luna Stage Postpones New Moon Reading, 11/5; Hosts Comedy Night as Scheduled, 11/8

Luna Stage Company does have power and the building was not damaged, but the theatre has decided to postpone the New Moon Reading originally scheduled for this Monday evening, November 5th, of Tammy Ryan's TAR BEACH, so the team can help keep the roads clear for recovery efforts. The reading will be rescheduled for later this month.

Luna Stage opens its 20th anniversary season with the New Jersey premiere of Vita and Virginia, an intimate two-character play by Eileen Atkins, adapted from correspondence between friends, lovers and confidants, Virginia Woolf and Vita Sackville-West. Opening night is tonight, October 5th. The play runs through October 28th.

Luna Stage has announced a partnership with Diversity Youth Theater to offer year round performing arts programming for young artists in the New Jersey and New York area, recognizing the value in their combined arts and educational strengths. The partnership has recently completed a successful summer program, which culminated in a wonderful sold out production where public demand sparked the addition of four additional shows.
