THE GREEN ROOM 42 - Broadway's newest intimate concert venue - has announced the world premiere of 'YOUR FAVORITE ACTOR FRIENDS' featuring Broadway's Ryann Redmond (Escape to Margaritaville, Bring it On), Sean Zuni Green (Hamilton B'way), Ximone Rose (Once on this Island, Beautiful Nat'l tour), and Josh Daniel (Book of Mormon B'way.) One night only - Sunday, March 18 at 9:30pm. The show is directed by Larry Owens, Music Direction by Dan Garmon, and features original music by Jordan Silver and Luke Steinhauer.

Pittsburgh Public Theater begins its 43rd season with Peter Shaffer's sensational drama, Equus. The play is directed by Pittsburgh Public Theater's Producing Artistic Director, Ted Pappas, as part of his Grand Finale Season. Mr. Pappas will leave the company in August, 2018. American singer-songwriter and the winner of NBC TV's first season of The Voice, Javier Colon, will star in Unquowa Repertory Theatre's inaugural production of Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Big River in concert, led by theatre veterans Kirby and Beverly Ward, will hit Fairfield Theatre Company's StageOne for a limited run of four performances, June 15-17, 2017. BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.  This week Broadway Sessions is offering a special TUESDAY night show featuring '16 MT grads from University of Michigan as well as notable Michigan alums. The evening will be hosted by  Michigan alum Todd Buonpane (Spelling Bee, Cinderella, 30 Rock) and will feature Jen Perry (Kinky Boots, Mamma Mia!) and more.

A new Theatre Aspen Apprentice Program was announced today. The award-winning Equity theatre will invite ten aspiring theatre professionals to Aspen for an entire summer, to work alongside professionals in all aspects of theatre production. Theatre Aspen supporters and Aspen residents Jessica and John Fullerton will underwrite the program for its first three years. In January, the organization was named "Non Profit of the Year" in the region with hundreds of local not-for-profits.

These talented youngsters have appeared in numerous productions for Pittsburgh CLO, the Pittsburgh Opera, the Pittsburgh Playhouse, Pittsburgh Playwrights Theater and the Pittsburgh Public Theater.
