The Broadway runs of WOLF HALL: PARTS 1 & 2 officially come to an end this weekend. Based on the novels by Booker Prize-winner Hilary Mantel, WOLF HALL ends its 15-week engagement today, July 5, 2015, at the Winter Garden Theatre. After critically acclaimed and sold out engagements at the Royal Shakespeare Company's Swan Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon and at the Aldwych Theatre in London, the theatrical event WOLF HALL: PARTS 1 & 2 began performances on Broadway on Friday, March 20, 2015, at the Winter Garden Theatre. Opening day will be held on April 9, 2015. The production is directed by Olivier Award nominee Jeremy Herrin, who makes his New York City directing debut. Wolf Hall: Parts 1 & 2 is based on the best selling novels by Dame Hilary Mantel (Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies) about the deceit, betrayal, and intrigue of the court of Henry VIII, and adapted for the stage by Mike Poulton. This special event invites theatergoers to be part of a unique theatrical experience, similar to the Royal Shakespeare Company's award winning production of The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby. Playful Productions and the Royal Shakespeare Company's Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies play at the Aldwych Theatre until today 4 October 2014.

Following a sell-out run at the RSC's Swan Theatre, Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies are currently playing in the West End at the Aldwych Theatre, and according to the New York Times, they might travel across the pond soon!

Due to overwhelming success, Playful Productions and the Royal Shakespeare Company are thrilled to announce that Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies will extend by four weeks. The productions will now play at the Aldwych Theatre until 4 October 2014. Tickets for the extension go on public sale today.
