Then embrace the magical sound of Canada's first lady of musical theatre, Louise Pitre, who comes to the Maltz Jupiter Theatre stage March 22 in a concert titled From Piaf to Broadway & Back. Pitre (pronounced 'Peet-ruh') shot to fame nearly two decades ago, when she starred in the title role of Piaf.

Canada's CityTv is reporting that the documentary 'Hot Toxic Love: The Making of The Toxic Avenger Musical' will have its premiere on March 7th at 10PM. The documentary offers a behind-the-scenes look at the Toronto production from auditions to opening night from the perspective of the cast and crew.

Tony Award nominated actress (for Mamma Mia) Louise Pitre has been cast to play Rose in the concert production of Gypsy at the Talk Is Free Theater in Barrie, Ontario. The new season at TIFT will begin on October 22 with the premiere of A Tale of How Ivan Ivanovich and Ivan Nikiforovich Had a Fight, followed by the concert production of Gypsy from November 25 and 26th. Next up is Assassins at the Downtown Theater Jan 21-30.
