ZOMBIE has announced it will be extending through April 26th, 2009. ZOMBIE is an award-winning new solo play by Bill Connington, adapted from the novella by Joyce Carol Oates. ZOMBIE, not for the faint of heart, takes you inside the mind of a sexual psychopath and Jeffrey Dahmer-esque serial killer.

What happens when outwardly 'normal' people snap? Joyce Carol Oates' ZOMBIE sheds insight into this question by taking you inside the mind of a sexual psychopath. In ZOMBIE, a Jeffrey Dahmer-esque serial killer by the name of 'Quentin P__' describes the murder, torture and rape of his young male victims. A sexual psychopath, he aspires to create zombie slaves to meet his every need. ZOMBIE received the Bram Stoker Award for Best Novel and was awarded the Lilla Risk Rand fiction prize by the Boston Book Review. Warning: ZOMBIE is not appropriate for those under the age of 17 due to adult situations.

Presented by Diodati Productions, Villa Diodati has music by Mira J. Spektor, lyrics by Colette Inez, book by Colette Inez & Mira J. Spektor with additional lyrics by Byron, Shelley, Spektor & Wordsworth and will be directed by Rob Urbinati with musical direction by Thomas Carlo Bo. Tony Award nominee Gavin Creel (Thoroughly Modern Millie) and 'American Idol' finalist Diana DeGarmo (Hairspray) will star in the new Broadway production of GODSPELL. The first Broadway revival of the landmark rock musical will officially open on Broadway at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street) on Thursday, October 23, 2008. Previews will begin on Monday, September 29, 2008.
