Danny Bolero (Broadway's In The Heights), Mel Johnson Jr. (Broadway's The Lion King, Hot Feet, The Rink), Beth McVey (Broadway's Beauty and the Beast, 42nd Street, Nine), ANITA WELCH (Avenue Q National Tour), Tim Young (Broadway's Next To Normal) and EJ ZIMMERMAN (Avenue Q National Tour) will star in Riley Thomas' subway tuner STUCK in the 2012 New York Musical Theatre Festival. John Davidson, the celebrated television, theater and film actor who starred as Matt in the 1964 Hallmark Hall of Fame version of THE FANTASTICKS and recently performed for a limited engagement in the Off-Broadway production as Henry, The Old Actor, will return to the cast on July 30 in that same role.

Additionally, Vereen fills us in on what we can expect from his upcoming solo spotlight show - a career retrospective - that will be kicking off at 54 Below on July 10 for a two-week engagement before an even larger, Broadway-bound mounting later this year at Princeton. On Monday, July 16, Broadway at Birdland is proud to present multi-Grammy and Tony nominated composer Frank Wildhorn in his monthly concert series called "Frank & Friends."
