Girl Crazy, the first Encores! production of the New York City Center season, will star Ana Gasteyer, Wayne Knight and Marc Kudisch and will run November 19 - 22. Girl Crazy, directed by Jerry Zaks and choreographed by Warren Carlyle with Guest Music Director Rob Fisher, has music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin and book by Guy Bolton and Jack McGowan.

Fresh off his lauded New York production of Farragut North, director Doug Hughes reunites much of his ensemble cast, including Juno's Olivia Thirlby, The Wire's Isiah Whitlock, Jr, Mia Barron, Dan Bittner and Justin Huen, at the Geffen Playhouse to join the previously announced Chris Noth and Chris Pine. Noth, best known for his longtime stint as Detective Mike Logan on Law & Order and as the (in)famous Mr.Big on Sex and the City, is a fellow cast member from the Atlantic Theater Company's NY production, while Pine, who is starring as the young Captain Kirk in the new film Star Trek and was recently seen in the Geffen's production of Neil LaBute's Fat Pig, is new to the LA production. Written by Beau Willimon, Farragut North was recently nominated for two Outer Critics Circle Awards including Outstanding New Off-Broadway Play.

The mystery is whether Berkley, who played a stripper-turned-showgirl in the cult dud 'Showgirls,' is being considered for a role in the show. Last week Lindsay Lohan attended the premiere and discussed a co-lead role with the show's creator, Jerry Mitchell.

News that for the right amount of money, she would be open to making a one-time appearance in the new Las Vegas hit. 'One show as a guest would be fun,' she says, adding that she'd do it just 'for play.'

PEEP SHOW director Jerry Mitchell went on the record with People Magazine yesterday, responding to rumors about Lindsay Lohan's interest in starring in the show. Mitchell told the celebrity magazine that 'The show is a perfect match for Lindsay and her beauty as well as her acting talents' and went on to note that 'I think she would be great in the show, I would need to meet with her and dance a bit as I would with anyone who would love to be a part of PEEP SHOW.'
