BEDLAM will open their 2015/2016 season with the world premiere of NEW YORK ANIMALS, a new play by two-time Tony Award winner Steven Sater (Spring Awakening) with songs by six-time Grammy Award winner and three-time Academy Award winner Burt Bacharach and Steven Sater, and directed by Eric Tucker.

One play, two completely different ways, with the same five actors, at the Dorothy Strelsin Theatre (312 W 36th Street, NYC) for 8 weeks only. Now in performances, Twelfth Night opens today, March 28 at 2pm, and What You Will opens Sunday, March 29 at 2pm.

Due to popular demand BEDLAM is adding three more performances of Jane Austen's Sense & Sensibility adapted by Kate Hamill. Sense & Sensibility is currently playing in rep with a production of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull adapted by Anya Reiss now through December 21 at the Sheen Center (18 Bleecker Street, NYC). The added performances for Sense & Sensibility are Sunday, December 7 at 2pm, Tuesday, December 16 at 8pm, and Sunday, December 21 at 2pm. Bridge Repertory Theater opens its first full season, in collaboration with Playhouse Creatures Theatre Company of NYC, with an ambitious production of Stephen Jeffreys' play about the life of 17th century poet John Wilmot. The complex story is overweight, but the acting is topnotch, as are the costumes and staging. Bridge Rep remains a theater company to watch.

Tina Packer's Women of Will, the epic exploration of Shakespeare's canon and life as seen through the eyes of his female characters, will play its final performance Off-Broadway at The Gym at Judson (243 Thompson Street) on May 26th, 2013 - one week earlier than originally scheduled, it has been announced by the show's producer Sarah Hancock and creator/star Tina Packer.

Chief theater critic and arts columnist for Newsday, Linda Winer, is scheduled to facilitate the final in a series of moderated talk-backs between audience members and Tina Packer and Nigel Gore following the 7pm performance of WOMEN OF WILLon Tuesday, May 14th. WOMEN OF WILL is scheduled to conclude its limited Off-Broadway run following its performance on Sunday, May 26 at The Gym at Judson (243 Thompson Street).
