BEDLAM will open their 2015/2016 season with the world premiere of NEW YORK ANIMALS, a new play by two-time Tony Award winner Steven Sater (Spring Awakening) with songs by six-time Grammy Award winner and three-time Academy Award winner Burt Bacharach and Steven Sater, and directed by Eric Tucker.

The off-Broadway theatre company, BEDLAM, which received critical acclaim and multiple award nominations for its recent productions of Saint Joan and Hamlet, and The Seagull and Sense & Sensibility is presenting Shakespeare's classic comedy Twelfth Night in rotating repertory with itself: Twelfth Night (or What You Will) and What You Will (or Twelfth Night). One play, two completely different ways, with the same five actors, at the Dorothy Strelsin Theatre (312 W 36th Street, NYC) for 8 weeks only. Now in performances, Twelfth Night opens today, March 28 at 2pm, and What You Will opens Sunday, March 29 at 2pm.

Due to popular demand BEDLAM is adding three more performances of Jane Austen's Sense & Sensibility adapted by Kate Hamill. Sense & Sensibility is currently playing in rep with a production of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull adapted by Anya Reiss now through December 21 at the Sheen Center (18 Bleecker Street, NYC). The added performances for Sense & Sensibility are Sunday, December 7 at 2pm, Tuesday, December 16 at 8pm, and Sunday, December 21 at 2pm. Previews begin tonight, Friday, October 31, for Bedlam Theatre company's productions of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull adapted by Anya Reiss and Jane Austen's Sense & Sensibility adapted by Kate Hamill. The repertory pair will play as part of the inaugural season at the Sheen Center (18 Bleecker Street, NYC) through December 22.
