Back by popular demand, The Snowman, the classic animated film, returns to Grand Rapids to inspire children of all ages and open the Grand Rapids Symphony's 2018-19 DTE Energy Foundation Family Series.

The Torrington Symphony Orchestra, with chorus, will present "A HOLIDAY FESTIVAL," on Saturday, December 1 at 7:30 pm in the Warner's Nancy Marine Studio Theatre. Under the direction of conductor Maurice Steinberg, the concert will feature The Hallelujah Chorus, selections from The Nutcracker, Leroy Anderson, The Transiberian Orchestra and other seasonal favorites!

The North Charleston POPS! concert series will host a "Select Your Seat" open house party on Monday, June 18 from 5:00 PM -7:00 PM at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center. Music fans are invited to come out and "select their seats" for the 2018-2019 season. The party features music, complimentary hors d'oeuvres, a wine tasting and backstage tours. The Chamber Music Society of St. Louis (CMSSL) adds another level of excitement to "Notes From Hollywood - The Sequel" their Tenth Anniversary  Gala celebrating Maestro Leonard Slatkin on May 21, 2018 in the Sheldon Concert Hall at 7pm.  St. Louis icon Ozzie Smith will join the festivities to honor Slatkin and welcome the couple back to St. Louis as permanent residents.

The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra takes concertgoers into the animal kingdom in "Panda-Monium: Music from the Animal Kingdom" family concerts on Saturday, May 12, at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark. On this wild concert adventure, concertgoers will hear animals fly, buzz, waltz and do the polka, all through music.

Mercer County Community College (MCCC) has added yet another option for students interested in music performance, with the addition of the MCCC Orchestra during the 2017-18 academic year, led by a veteran Mercer County music educator.

On Today, December 16, the Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) Holiday POPS! concert celebrates the season with the Princeton High School Choir at 4 pm and 7 pm performances led by Music Director Rossen Milanov at Richardson Auditorium on Princeton University Campus. The festive program includes music by John Williams from Home Alone, Franz Waxman's 1938 Suite from A Christmas Carol, waltzes by Johann Strauss Jr., and more. Of course, no Holiday POPS! concert is complete without Maestro Milanov inviting the audience to join in on carols arranged by Leroy Anderson.

The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), a professional membership organization of songwriters, composers and music publishers, announces its Top Holiday Songs for 2017. According to an ASCAP analysis of streaming and terrestrial radio data, 1994's 'All I Want For Christmas Is You,' written by Walter Afanasieff and Mariah Carey, moves to #1, joining enduring Christmas classics like 'A Holly Jolly Christmas'(written by Johnny Marks, 1962) and 'Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow'(written by Sammy Cahn and Jule Styne, 1945), at the top of the charts. The Philadelphia Youth Orchestra's all-brass ensemble, Bravo Brass, returns to Burlington, New Jersey with a joyous holiday concert on Sunday, December 17 at 3 p.m. It will take place at Saint Mary's Episcopal Church located at 145 West Broad Street, Burlington, NJ., and will be led by Paul Bryan, the Director of Bravo Brass, and Associate Conductor Barry McCommon.

The Chelsea Symphony, featured in the hit Amazon show Mozart in the Jungle, announces the continuation of its 2017/18 season, entitled Sea Change, with a holiday concert on December 1 featuring special guest, comedian Judy Gold, narrating The Night Before Christmas by composer Aaron Dai.

The Hershey Symphony Orchestra will present it's annual Holiday Spectacular concert on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 2 p.m and 8 p.m. at the Hershey Theatre
