The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra continues its 2020-21 season with live streamed performances of the highly anticipated holiday pops concert featuring holiday classics as well as famous arrangements highlighting the guest soloists.

Boston Symphony Orchestra has announced their upcoming programming including newly recorded videos launching in November and December, plus Music In Changing Times and more.

The 2020 Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular broadcast, under the direction Keith Lockhart, will present A Boston Pops Salute to Our Heroes, featuring both new content and retrospective highlights from many of the most beloved performers from the past three years.

Boston Pops at Home and BSO at Home offer a wide variety of new and retrospective audio and video content, available free each week.

Jon Robertson, dean of Lynn University Conservatory of Music and Philharmonia guest conductor, today invited fans of classical music to 19 presentations during the first two months of 2020, including the annual New Music Festival.

The New Jersey Youth Symphony (NJYS) presents a rare side-by-side concert of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite performed by the NJYS Youth Symphony alongside Duke Ellington's jazz rendition performed by the NJYS Jazz Orchestra on Sunday, December 8 at 3:00 p.m. at the Union County Performing Arts Center (1601 Irving Street in Rahway). Tickets are $20/Adults, $15/Seniors and Students or 5 tickets for $50. Use code FAMILYPACK at www.ucpac.org. There will be a complimentary pre-concert reception in the UCPAC lobby at 2:00 p.m.

On Saturday, December 14, at 3pm and 6pm, the Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) Holiday POPS! concert celebrates the season with returns of the New Jersey Tap Dance Ensemble and the Princeton High School Choir. The festive program features March of the Toys by Victor Herbert, 'White Christmas' by Irving Berlin, 'Waltz of the Flowers' from Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker, a polka by Johann Strauss Jr., Leroy Anderson's Sleigh Ride, and more. Of course, everyone is invited to join in the annual carol sing-along! Conductor Nell Flanders leads both performances, which take place at Richardson Auditorium on the campus of Princeton University.

After yet another summer of record participation, Side by Side with the Chicago Philharmonic will perform for the third time at South Shore Cultural Center on December 1 2019 for a holiday community concert with guest conductor Emanuele Andrizzi. The program, presented as a part of the Chicago Park District's Night Out in the Parks initiative, invites students and community members to play alongside professional Chicago Philharmonic musicians in a series of free, public concerts in Chicago's beautiful parks. Joining the orchestra and community members for this special holiday concert will be members of the Hyde Park Youth Symphony, bringing together diverse young musicians from the South side of Chicago.

Raymond and Elizabeth Chenault, known as a?oeThe World's Premiere Duo-Organ Teama?? (Atlanta Journal & Constitution), perform on Northrop's restored Aeolian-Skinner Opus 892 pipe organ on Tue, Dec 3 in a program of popular holiday favorites. Having commissioned, arranged, and premiered more than 60 organ duets, The Chenault Duo has made a?oeorgan music for four hands, four feeta?? synonymous with their name, and will bring traditional organ programming along with several holiday selections to Northrop's stage.

The Chelsea Symphony's Holiday Concert at 8pm on December 6th, 2019, features the orchestra's annual performance of Aaron Dai's The Night Before Christmas, narrated by actor and comedian Mario Cantone, best known for his role as Anthony on Sex and the City.

The Center for the Arts at George Mason University continues the 2019/20 season this November and December with an array of dance, theater, opera, and music from around the world through programs from Great Performances at Mason, the Family Series, as well as signature events from Mason's College of Visual and Performing Arts.

Boston Ballet II (BBII) will perform at Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center in Stowe, Vermont on Saturday, November 2 at 7:00 pm.  The program will feature three works by Boston Ballet-based choreographers, a 19th century work by Arthur Saint-Leon, composer Amilcare Ponchielli's Dance of the Hours, a romantic duet by Tony Award-winning choreographer Christopher Wheeldon, and excerpts from Mikko Nissinen's The Nutcracker.
