Hershey Symphony Presents Annual Holiday Spectacular

The Hershey Symphony Orchestra will present it's annual Holiday Spectacular concert on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 2 p.m and 8 p.m. at the Hershey Theatre.

The concert includes selections from the TransSiberian Orchestra, Mannheim Steamroller, the Concert Suite from the Polar Express, selections from Nutcracker, Handel's Messiah, a Hanukkah Medley, and Leroy Anderson's Sleigh Ride and Christmas Festival Overture. Plus, Odin Rathnam will be featured on "Winter" from Vivaldi's Four Seasons. The orchestra will be joined on a few numbers by it's two youth orchestras. In addition, there will be audience sing-alongs and a visit from the man in the red suit! After the 8pm concert, the Symphony will be selling holiday poinsettias for audience members to take home.

For 48 years, the Hershey Symphony Orchestra has entertained music lovers throughout Central Pennsylvania. Comprised of accomplished local musicians, the Hershey Symphony Orchestra is proud to enrich the community with its gift of music. Established in 1969 as a chamber ensemble by a group of musicians at the Hershey Medical Center, the Hershey Symphony has grown to eighty-plus members from throughout central Pennsylvania.
