Drayton Entertainment's 2016 Season will be packed with Broadway blockbusters, rock 'n' roll revues, hilarious comedies, and a world-premiere musical celebrating the life of Canadian hero Terry Fox.

Dana Yeaton's sweeping, compelling MAD RIVER RISING brings a flood of forces - natural, generational and emotional - to the Cincinnati Playhouse's Robert S. Marx Theatre Oct. 17 through Nov. 14. Family patriarch and farmer Angus Stewart, the anchor of Yeaton's captivating drama, escapes from his nursing home determined to save the land he loves from the rising tide of urbanization.

Entertain. Illuminate. Educate. As Park City Performing Arts Foundation has transitioned into Park City Institute, its mission has broadened. This season at The Eccles Center illustrates PCI's efforts to not just entertain, but also to educate and to illuminate. PCI sets the tone for a 'thinky' Eccles Center season with Edward Snowden opening the line-up on December 5 (via closed video feed). Amanda McBroom -- American international theater and cabaret performer and writer of the hit song, "The Rose"  -- will return to 54 Below on September 30th and October 1st at 7pm with her new show, Up Close and Personal, featuring unheard songs from her own songwriter's trunk, plus music by some of her favorite writers including Leonard Cohen, Judy Collins, Fran Landesman, John Bucchino, Jacques Brel and more.

Composer Paola Prestini, the Creative and Executive Director of National Sawdust (NS), today announced programming for the non-profit's inaugural fall season in its new home-a $16 million, 13,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art chamber hall in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The performance and recording venue, designed by Brooklyn-based architecture firm Bureau V in the shell of century-old former sawdust factory, will provide composers and musicians a setting in which they can flourish, and a place where they are given commissioning support, mentoring and other critical resources essential to create, and then share, their work. For audiences-serious fans and casual listeners alike-the venue will be a place to discover genre-spanning music at accessible ticket prices.

On Saturday 12 September, Riverside Theatres presents Pearl: The Janis Joplin Story, a musical presentation that celebrates the queen of rock 'n' roll and vintage funk, Janis Joplin.

Tonight, August 13, Time for Three will perform with the Utah Symphony at Red Butte Garden. Under the baton of conductor Jerry Steichen, the trio will perform a variety of pieces spanning from Vivaldi's 'The Four Seasons' to pop favorites by Justin Timberlake, Mumford & Sons, and Katy Perry.
