Musical director David Duvall will join Meg once again on the baby grand for the Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 2 PM performance at the Arthur Newman Theatre located at the Joslyn Center in Palm Desert as part of the Sundays In Summer Cabaret Series produced by Les Michaels.  

Vanessa Williams, superstar in film, television, stage, and in recordings, will make her Provincetown debut this Labor Day Weekend, on Sunday, September 6 at 6:30 PM. Her one-night-only performance will be the finale of this year's inaugural Broadway @ Town Hall concert series produced by Mark Cortale and hosted by SiriusXM Radio's Seth Rudetsky and benefiting the Tyler Clementi Foundation.

Just announced! The NYC debut of ELIJAH JAMAL QUINTET and Guests performing on Friday, September 4!  The quintet is led by saxophonist and composer Elijah Jamal Balbed, a Washington DC native named 'Best Tenor Saxophonist' and 'Best New Jazz Musician' by the Washington City Paper. 

The Joyce Theater Foundation, Linda Shelton Executive Director, proudly kicks-off its 2015 fall season on September 22 with a world premiere by Camille A. Brown & Dancers. The work, BLACK GIRL: Linguistic Play, will be performed by an all-female cast during the company's week-long engagement at The Joyce, which runs through September 27. Broadway In Chicago is thrilled to announce the quintessential backstage musical comedy classic 42nd STREET will celebrate a two-week engagement at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph) with a sparkling new production, March 8 - March 20, 2016. 42nd STREET will be directed by co-author Mark Bramble and choreographed by Randy Skinner, the team who staged the 2001 Tony Award winning Best Revival.

The Pasadena Playhouse announced today that The New Victory Theater in New York will present the Off-Broadway premiere of The Pasadena Playhouse/Crossroads Theatre Company production of FLY, by Trey Ellis and Ricardo Khan, the Tony Award-winning co-founder and former artistic director of Crossroads Theatre Company, to open March 11, 2016. FLY will be directed by Ricardo Khan.

The Old Globe's presentation of Kiss Me, Kate, the classic musical comedy featuring a book by Sam and Bella Spewack and an iconic score by Cole Porter, begins tonight, July 1, on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.

The 2015 'MetroStar Talent Challenge' is extending its deadline for applications to July 4 and adding new mentoring to help competitors up their games during the 7-week contest. The eighth annual edition of the summer tradition runs for seven consecutive Mondays, from July 6 through August 17.  All contestants must certify that they will be available to compete throughout the jury-and audience-voted, elimination-round competition.

Axis Theatre will present the world premiere of The Vast Machine, a new play written and directed by Randy Sharp about the dilemmas facing the crew of a slave ship at sea in the Middle Passage. Performances will take place October 1-24 at Axis Theatre (1 Sheridan Square) in the West Village.
