After playing sold out shows across the country, The Amazing Max, the "awesome and hilarious live magic show for the whole family" (PBS Kids) starring magician Max Darwin (aka "The Amazing Max") returns to delight New York audiences in a month-long holiday engagement at the Manhattan Movement and Arts Center - MMAC (248 West 60th Street - between Amsterdam and West End Avenues). Performances begin on Friday, November 28 and continue through Wednesday, December 31.

Playwrights Horizons is now accepting entries for its popular LIVEforFIVE online lottery for up to two $5 tickets each to the world premiere of POCATELLO, a new play by Obie, Drama Desk and Lortel awards winner and 2014 MacArthur Foundation 'Genius' grantee Samuel D. Cleveland Play House proudly introduces their production of How We Got On, the coming-of-age story of three teens whose passion for hip-hop and determination to succeed generates creativity, artistry and friendship. Playwright Idris Goodwin's How We Got On will delight Cleveland audiences with its uplifting message and great grooves. Directed by Jaime Castañeda, and featuring an eclectic cast of actors including Cleveland School of the Arts graduate Cyndii Johnson, How We Got On is sure to have audiences of all ages feeling the beat October 24 - November 16 in the Outcalt Theatre at PlayhouseSquare. Directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch, Bethany will run today, Jan. 25 - Feb. 23, 2014 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.
