Emmy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Tammy Blanchard will make her "The Big C" debut on Sunday, May 13 at 9:30 pm on Showtime. Landing a 3 episode recurring role on the hit television series, Blanchard will appear as Giselle, a sexy, uninhibited, and married Pilate's instructor whose relationship with Sean Tolkey (John Benjamin Hickey) starts to obscure his once conventional life.

Two Time Tony Nominee Brian d'Arcy James, who stars on NBC's Smash and is appearing this May on The Big C on Showtime, announced today that he will be performing a week of concerts at the new space 54 Below from June 26 - June 30th.

Nominations for the 57th Annual Drama Desk Awards will be announced at a news conference on Friday, April 27, 2011, at 9:30 AM at Feinstein's at the Loews Regency, 540 Park Avenue at 61st Street, in Manhattan. National Jewish Theater, Producing Artistic Director Arnold Mittelman, will present a limited Off-Broadway run of The Soap Myth, by Jeff Cohen, from March 23 - April 22 at theBlack Box Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street, between 6th Avenue and Broadway). Directed by Arnold Mittelman, this production will starGreg Mullavey (television's "Marty Hartman") and features Andi Potamkin, Donald Corren, and Dee Pelletier.

Emmy, Grammy and Tony Award-winning actress Cynthia Nixon will join soprano Lisa Delan and pianist Kristin Pankonin in an evening that features Gordon Getty's The White Election, a song cycle based on the poetry of Emily Dickinson. Ms. Nixon will read selections from Emily Dickinson's letters. The event will take place on Thursday, April 19, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. at The Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse (Samuel B. & David Rose Building, 70 Lincoln Center Plaza, 165 West 65th Street, Manhattan).

Academy Award-winning actress Susan Sarandon will join the cast of the third season of Showtime's drama series THE BIG C. The actress will make her first appearance on April 22nd.
