THE BOOK OF MORMON Announces Lottery for Run at Orpheum Theeater

THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, is pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins Saturday, October 12, at Omaha's Orpheum Theater and plays a limited nine-day, 11-performance engagement through Sunday, October 20, 2013. In Omaha, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery on each performance day at the Orpheum Theater box office, 409 S. 16th St. A limited number of tickets will be available at $25 each, cash only.

THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, is pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins Tuesday, Oct 1 at Bass Concert Hall and plays a limited two-week engagement through Sunday, October 13. In Austin, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the Bass Concert Hall box office located at 2350 Robert Dedman Drive, making a limited number of tickets available at $25 apiece.

As rumored since she took over briefly while Andrea Martin was on vacation, the producers of the Tony Award winning PIPPIN recently confirmed that four-time Tony Award nominee Tovah Feldshuh (Irena's Vow, Golda's Balcony) will assume the role of 'Berthe' in the production beginning tonight, September 24th. Two-time Tony Award winner Andrea Martin played her final performance in the role on Sunday, September 22nd. Feldshuh previously played 'Berthe' during Martin's vacation. PIPPIN is now playing at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45thStreet).

Roger O. Hirson and Stephen Schwartz's PIPPIN is directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus and features choreography by Tony Award nominee Chet Walker in the style of Bob Fosse and circus creation by Gypsy Snider of the Montreal-based circus company Les 7 doigts de la main (also known as 7 Fingers). Directed by five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman, with music and lyrics by Grammy and Tony Award nominee Andrew Lippa, and a book by Grammy and BAFTA Award nominee John August, BIG FISH begins performances on Broadway tonight, Thursday, September 5, 2013 and will open Sunday, October 6, 2013 at the Neil Simon Theatre (250 West 52nd Street). A limited number of student rush tickets will be available when the box office opens (10am Monday through Saturday) for that day's performance(s).
