IMPROV WARS to Close 2014-15 Season Next Month

On April 21, 2015, Improv Wars will finish the 2014/2015 season with Improv Wars: The Spring Invasion featuring Columbus' finest improv groups competing for audience laughs. This is the finale ?of a successful season of the “One Night Stand”, “The Fall Attack”, “The Holiday Showcase”, and “The Blizzard Blitz”. As with previous Improv Wars the event will be held at Studio 35, 3055 Indianola Ave., Columbus, OH 43202. The series will begin again in August, 2015.

Emmy Award-winning actor/writer/comedian Wanda Sykes has been called 'one of the funniest stand-up comics' by her peers and ranks among Entertainment Weekly's 25 Funniest People in America. She works regularly with the likes of Larry David, Chris Rock and Gary Trudeau on such shows and films as Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Chris Rock Show, Pootie Tang, and the Amazon Prime series Alpha House. Her HBO stand up special I'ma Be Me was nominated for two Primetime Emmy awards. This amazingly funny lady will headline at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Friday, May 1, at 8 p.m. This show is for mature audiences only. Special guest is stand-up comedian and comic actor Keith Robinson. This event is part of the Clark Construction Comedy Series.

Comedy Central and Jon Stewart's Busboy Productions welcomes a group of comic all-stars for its autism benefit, 'Night of Too Many Stars: America Comes Together for Autism Programs.' Taped on Saturday, February 28, from the Beacon Theatre in New York City, the benefit for autism programs featured Stewart hosting an evening filled with live performances, sketches and short films from a roster of comedy all-stars. 'Night of Too Many Stars' will premiere on Comedy Central tonight, March 8 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.
