In a desperate attempt to pay her rent, single-white-cabaret performer-comedienne-depressive Kristine Zbornik is back with a somewhat new and entirely unrehearsed show. With the assistance of Bobby Peaco, her trusty piano-playing, joke-writing 'straight' man, Kristine Zbornik's Open-Ended Depression will most certainly be a rehash of everything you've already seen before and much, much less. Performances are Todays at 9:30 beginning tonight, February 10th.

Recently married couple Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley are set to premiere four original plays in rep this March. 'Midtown March Medley,' as the series is called, will feature a comedy musical act, a two-hander, a caper and a family drama. There's plenty of classical music, comedy, incest, strokes and murder. As Seth and James say, 'Something for everyone!'

After receiving more than 3,000 nominations once BroadwayWorld.com announced it's first-ever New York Cabaret Awards in early October, BWW is now pleased to announce it's final nominations ballot in 20 categories. Now it's time for all you cabaret performers and fans to vote for the best singers, musicians and shows of the year. The Public Theater's production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's INTO THE WOODS, part of The Public's 50th Anniversary season at the Delacorte opened last week, August 9th to mixed reveiews from critics. Now according to the New York Times, the show is still 'pursuing a possible Broadway transfer.' Producer Joey Parnes is currently working to bring the show to Broadway in late winter or spring of 2013.
