"As the World Turns" star Van Hansis and "Happy Endings" star Stephen Guarino have joined the cast of the new web series "EastSiders," which is scheduled to premiere today, Dec. 14th.

What happens after the world ends? Written and directed by award winning playwright Kit Williamson and starring Van Hansis ("As the World Turns") and Stephen Guarino ("Happy Endings"), the new web series 'EastSiders' explores the aftermath of infidelity on a gay couple in Silverlake. With a commitment to developing new work and cultivating the next generation of playwrights, Urban Stages (Frances Hill, Founder/Artistic Director, Lauren Schmiedel, Managing Director) is proud to kick-off the season highlighting some of the towns top playwrighting talent including La'Chris Jordan, Robert Karmon, Gino DiIorio, John Walch, Lydia R. Diamond, Lydia Stryk, William Orem, Kit Williamson & Stanton Wood.

Other new additions to the evening include actors Will Rogers ('Gossip Girl,' From Up Here) and Charles Shaughnessy (Urinetown, 'The Nanny') and directors Michael Berresse ([title of show]) and Marc Bruni (White Christmas).

This one-night only event will take place on Monday, May 4, 2009 and will be an inspirational Broadway benefit performance filling the stage with original music and theatre that explores the ways in which breast cancer touches people's lives.

A New York revival of Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens will be presented by Sweet &Tart Productions in association with Summoners Ensemble Theatre at the Laurie Beechman Theater on October 10, 11, 17, and 19. In keeping with the company's mission of giving back to the community, 25 percent of all proceeds will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The Tony Award-nominated Broadway revival of Eric Bogosian's 1987 play Talk Radio will take its final bow on June 24th after playing 150 performances at the Longacre Theater on West 48th Street.

Eric Bogosian's Talk Radio, which began its current run at the Longacre Theatre on Thursday, February 15, 2007 and was recently nominated for the Tony, Outer Critics Circle, Drama League and Drama Desk award for Outstanding Revival of a Play, is continuing its series of post-show talkbacks with New York Post theater columnist and Theater Talk (WNET/Ch. Thirteen) co-host Michael Riedel.
