High praise from his dance partner aside, Kressley revealed for the first time, on 'GMA,' that Trebunskaya was not his first choice for a professional partner. Comparing the process of the show's 13 celebrities being paired with professional dancers to online dating, Kressley said it was Russian dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy, paired this season with U.S. soccer star Hope Solo, whom he really wanted to move with on the dance floor.

Kirstie Alley was back in the spotlight this year due to her success on 'Dancing with the Stars.' As previously reported, the actress has been vocal about her her desire to take her talents to the Broadway stage in a play. Now according to Deadline.com, Alley is ditching her dreams of starring in a Broadway show to star in a new coedy for ABC titled The Manzani's. As described by Deadline, the show is 'a new take on Roseanne, and stars Alley as a very opinionated wife/mother who, along with her family, the Manzanis, moves to repressed country club town.'

As previously reported, the actress has been vocal about her her desire to take her talents to the Broadway stage in a play. Now according to Deadline.com, Alley is ditching her dreams of starring in a Broadway show to star in a new coedy for ABC titled The Manzani's. The ballroom was bursting with British tradition... from the sound of bagpipes to the smell of Yorkshire Roses, to the haunting music of BILLY ELLIOT. HRH The Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, graciously greeted guests with a smile, clearly enjoying the fun and laughter of the guests, and the special message of the Speakers. A black-tie dinner was held last night, June 23 at the Pierre Hotel in celebration of the best of British humor and entertainment to benefit the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award and Young Americans' Challenge. The Duke of Edinburgh's Award was created by HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh in 1956. The Duke of Edinburgh's Award has been dedicated to the personal development of young people, aged 14-25, from all backgrounds. The Award honors those who have made great personal achievements in the areas of service, exploration in a challenging environment, skills and physical recreation. Very serious. The show she's helming this time, you see, is every dancer's holy grail: A Chorus Line. In the cast, you'll find a blending of familiar faces and newcomers. During the run-up to the show's June 9 opening night, we'll introduce you to Kate's cast - and next up is her longtime collaborator, the fearless actor/director/choreographer/raconteur Tim Larson, with whom she's worked on numerous musicals of the past few years, including the critically acclaimed Titanic, in which Larson and company sunk a ship.

Kirstie Alley is back in the spotlight due to her success on 'Dancing with the Stars.' As previously reported, the actress has been vocal about her her desire to take her talents to the Broadway stage in a play. On last night's episode, Alley revealed that she may be one step closer to the dream, as she has already been offered a role. As reported in EW.com, she stated: 'I was offered a Broadway play...I'm not going to do it, because my friends said, `don't do one if you can't get a Tony!' But I am tempted. There a couple I want to do.' She revealed no further details about the gig.
