Minnelli Talks 'Rock and Roll' Cameo in 'Sex And The City 2'

According to contactmusic.com, stage and screen legend Liza Minnelli has confirmed that she will be appearing in Sex And The City 2, in addition to being on the film's soundtrack. In the film, Minnelli will perform at the wedding of Stanford Blatch, the gay character and ladies' confidante played by Willie Garson.

According to a report from Entertainment Weekly, Liza Minnelli will be featured on the soundtrack recording for 'Sex and the City 2.' Liza has a small cameo appearance in the film as herself and will be featured on two tracks, Beyonce's 'Single Ladies' and Cole Porter's 'Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye.'

The UK Independent is reporting Kim Cattrall and Matthew Macfayden will team up with Gillian Anderson to star in the UK's Channel 4 four-part mini-series Any Human Heart. The series is an adaptation of William Boyd's best-selling novel and will premiere later this year.

The 2010 Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), presented by American Express, the Founding Sponsor of the Festival, today announced its remaining out-of-competition feature film selections in the Encounters, Discovery, Cinemania and Spotlight sections. The Festival will take place from April 21 to May 2, 2010 in lower Manhattan, offering audiences film screenings, conversations and an array of free community events.
