The Dallas Opera presents the finale of its 2011-2012 "Tragic Obsessions" Season: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's comic-drama, THE MAGIC FLUTE (Die Zauberflote), opening Friday, April 20, 2012 at 7:30 PM in the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House at the AT&T Performing Arts Center.

Dallas Theater Center Artistic Director Kevin Moriarty announced today the theater's 2012-13 season, which will take place at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre at the AT&T Performing Arts Center and the historic Kalita Humphreys Theater. DTC's 54th season will include three world premieres; two new musicals; the culmination of DTC's four-year Shakespeare cycle; and several nationally acclaimed plays making their North Texas debut.

The Dallas Opera will offer the remaining tickets for the three performances that will launch the company's exciting, new chamber opera series to the general public, in the nick of time for holiday gift giving. Mozart's THE MAGIC FLUTE will be simulcast live on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 7:30 PM (doors open at 6:00 PM) at the high-tech home of the Dallas Cowboys at One Legends Way in Arlington, Texas. Patrons will be able to enjoy a complete, unabridged live performance on the world's largest high-definition video board structure, comprised of four massive viewing screens (the largest, 72 feet tall and 160 feet wide) suspended directly above the playing field.

Dallas Theater Center announced today the cast of Next Fall, which runs at the Kalita Humphreys Theater April 13 - May 6, 2012. Terry Martin and DTC Brierley Resident Acting Company member Steven Michael Walters will lead the cast as Adam (Martin) and Luke (Walters). Martin is Producing Artistic Director at WaterTower Theatre and is making his DTC debut. Walters is Co-Artistic Director of Second Thought Theatre and appeared in this season's productions of The Tempest and A Christmas Carol.
