Massey came to Next to Normal directly from the Broadway company of Wicked. He has also appeared on Broadway in Xanadu and off-Broadway in Altar Boyz. He has toured with Wicked and 42nd Street and has appeared on TV in the series 'Cupid.'

Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have Alfred Hitchcock's 'The 39 Steps.' This two-time Tony and Drama Desk Award winner is adapted by Patrick Barlow (Olivier Award for Best New Comedy), directed by Maria Aitken and features sets and costumes by Peter McKintosh. The production is based on an original concept by Simon Corble and Nobby Dimon and on the book by John Buchan.

Alfred Hitchcock's 'The 39 Steps,' a hilarious reimagining of the 1935 film mystery, arrives at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre on April 27, 2010, for three weeks only, continuing performances through May 16. Opening is set for April 28.

Yesterday, March 11, work on AMERICAN IDIOT was temporarily delayed when a fire broke out in the elevator shaft of the St. James Theatre. While an initial report into the FDNY indicated that someone was trapped inside the elevator, upon arrival firefighters confirmed that while the fire did indeed initiate in the elevator shaft, no one was inside. The building was evacuated and no one was harmed. The cause of the fire is still unknown and under investigation.

The 2010 Olivier Awards will take place on 21 March 2010 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, with Spring Awakening, Enron, Jerusalem and A Little Night Music among the standouts of the season with the most nominations. The Laurence Olivier Awards were established in 1976 as The Society of West End Theatre Awards, and Lord Olivier agreed to have his name associated with them in 1984. This year's Critics Circle Awards, sponsored by Actor's Equity Association, today announced is nominees for excellence in San Francisco Bay area theater. Berkeley Rep's production of American Idiot, which played in the fall of 2009, leads with 12 nominations and will open on Broadway this spring.

The Tony Award-winning Vineyard Theatre will present the world-premiere of the new musical THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS, with music and lyrics by Tony Award-winners John Kander and Fred Ebb, book by David Thompson and directed by Tony Award-winner Susan Stroman with musical direction by David Loud. Previews begin February 12, 2010 prior to an official opening date of March 10, it has been announced by Vineyard Artistic Director Douglas Aibel.

THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS was previously scheduled to run through April 4. Now in previews, THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS has its official opening night on March 10.

Broadway's most talked about new musical and the biggest Tony Award®-winner in years is coming to Atlanta. Spring Awakening, the 8-time Tony Award® winning Broadway musical, will play at The Fabulous Fox Theatre from March 9-14, 2010, and is presented by Broadway Across America - Atlanta as part of the 2009-2010 season.

It was also announced that a completely new ‘Tribe' will debut in the Broadway production on Tuesday evening, March 9th.

Previews for THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS began Off-Broadway at the Vineyard Theatre on February 12. The production will officially open on March 10.
