SIN Has Its World Premiere At Baruch Performing Arts Center's Rose Nagelberg Theatre

SIN, a mystical comedy, based on Isaac Bashevis Singer's short story 'The Unseen,' adapted by Mark Altman, will have it's world premiere at the Baruch Performing Arts Center's Rose Nagelberg Theatre (55 Lexington Avenue at 25th Street).

Last night, Thursday February 18, The New Group opened Sam Shepard's A Lie of the Mind, directed by Ethan Hawke, as the second production in its 2009-2010 season. This production plays a limited Off-Broadway engagement through March 20 at The New Group at Theatre Row. This production marks the first New York revival since the play's 1985 award-winning debut.

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that 'Whisper House' creators Duncan Sheik and Kyle Jarrow have been met with a legal challenge involving New York-based director Keith Powell who claims he was slated to direct the new musical.

Acorn Productions announces that the company has selected 5 full-length plays to be given dramatic readings in the Acorn Studio Theater as part of the process of choosing a featured play for this year's Maine Playwrights Festival.
