Lois Lowry's admired novel provides the setting for SCR's Theatre for Young Audiences touching play Anastasia Krupnik, adapted by Meryl Friedman. Through her safeguarded journal and her wacky personality the show portrays both hilarious and serious issues in childhood and family life. The performances run Feb. 8-24 on the Julianne Argyros Stage. Tickets are available at www.scr.org.

The fourth show from Jackie Goldberg and Rockin' with the Ages The Beat Goes On! is by far their BEST, most slick and vibrant and totally indicative of Goldberg's great philosophy for all seniors to 'Get Up, Get Out and Get a Life!' It really MOVES! But you don't have to be a senior to enjoy the show. There's something for everyone from hip hop to rock and roll to 'Young at Heart'.

A uniquely theatrical event that melds puppetry, live actors, original music and video, D is for Dog will open as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival tonight, June 8 and continue to run at the Hudson Mainstage through August 4.
