Victory Gardens Theater Artistic Director Chay Yew, Executive Director Erica Daniels and Director of New Play Development Skyler Gray announce the lineup for the 2019 IGNITION Festival of New Plays, including The Tasters by Meghan Brown; The Gradient by Steph Del Rosso; [hieroglyph] by Erika Dickerson-Despenza; #NEWSLAVES by Keelay Gipson; Reckoning: Furies from a New Queer Nation by Geraldine Inoa; and They Could Give No Name by Exal Iraheta. Page Seventy-Three Productions announced today that the 2018 Spring Celebration will honor Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Quiara Alegria Hudes and Page 73 supporters Mary Lee and David Jones. The Spring Celebration will be held on Tuesday, May 15 at Tribeca Rooftop (2 Desbrosses Street).

Aphrodisiac, a dark political comedy by playwright Rob Handel, originally produced by 13P in 2005, will return to NYC for a limited run at Loft227 (227 W 29th Street) from February 13th - February 24th.

Page 73 Productions (Page 73) has named John J. Caswell Jr. the 2017 P73 Playwriting Fellow. Selected from over 400 applicants, Caswell will receive a $10,000 award and additional $10,000 budgeted for developing several new plays over the course of the year.

?Premiere Stages, the professional theatre company in residence at Kean University, has announced its four finalists for the 2016 Premiere Stages Play Festival, and will offer free public readings of the plays by professional actors during its 12th Annual Spring Readings Series. The readings will take place Thursday, March 10 through Saturday, March 12 at 7:00 pm and Sunday, March 13 at 3:00 pm in the Murphy Dunn Theatre, located in Vaughn Eames Hall on Kean's central campus (1000 Morris Avenue, Union, N.J.).
