After sold out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Toronto, NYC, and recently in Pakistan Dirty Paki Lingerie by Aizzah Fatima directed by Erica Gould returns to NYC at The Flea Theater for a three week run from July 31 through August 18.

On July 10, the National Corporate Theatre Fund (NCTF) announced it has received two significant grants that will help develop exciting new works for theatre and strengthen innovative theatre education programs at NCTF's theatres across the country. The Ford Foundation awarded $250,000 to five significant regional theatres celebrating their 50th anniversaries-Actors Theatre of Louisville, Guthrie Theater, Hartford Stage, Seattle Repertory Theatre, and Trinity Repertory Company through the National Corporate Theatre Fund. And The Hearst Foundations will award $100,000 to Impact Creativity which supports interdisciplinary and innovative theatre education programs at NCTF's 19 theatres, a critically important grant as arts education budgets are cut across the country.

Winning upwards of 50 awards (including Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle, LA Weekly, Ovation, and Garland Awards) in just the past five years (BEST PRODUCTION two years in a row), Rogue Machine's first offering (which opened on May 18th) for the 2013 season has sold out the original run. They will now be extending the schedule for the Los Angeles premiere of Dying Cityby Christopher Shinn (OBIE winner, Pulitzer Prize finalist) through August 5th.

The ultra-low budget film Isn't It Delicious, which can be seen in the upcoming Manhattan Film Festival, stars award-winning theater actors, Kathleen Chalfant, Keir Dullea and Alice Ripley, who skillfully demonstrate that all the world is indeed a stage as they play out their drama and antics across Connecticut and New York City. 'Isn't It Delicious' will screen twice at the Quad Theatre tonight, June 23rd and the 25th respectively. The 1st screening is already sold out.

The Off Broadway Alliance, the organization of Off Broadway producers, theaters, general managers, press agents and marketing firms, presented the 3rd annual Off Broadway Alliance Awards last night, June 18th at Sardi's. Degage, Coupe, Glissade, Croise... These are not only Steps in Ballet, but also Techniques of the Blade. Pointwork can be done with a Rapier as well as a Point Shoe. Translating the choreography of the duel to the language of ballet, this Benefit Performance for Salon/Sanctuary Concerts will feature the world premiere of a fiery and intimate pas de deux created for Jared Angle and Megan LeCrone, as well as a live presentation of the historically-based, fiercely beautiful sword fight (performed by a male and female fighter), upon which the ballet is based.

Over 300 guests including current and past New York City high school students, and the performing arts professional mentors who have participated in TDF's Open Doors, the theatre arts mentoring program that TDF founded in 1998 with playwright Wendy Wasserstein, will attend this year's graduation at 5:30pm tonight, June 3 at The Pershing Square Signature Center - Irene Diamond Stage (480 West 42nd Street, NYC).

The production runs 5pm Saturdays, 7pm Sundays, and 8pm Mondays through July 8, 2013, with Memorial weekend performances on May 23rd at 8pm and Sunday, May 26th at 7pm (No performance on June 24th).
