Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere of TALES FROM RED VIENNA, the new play by David Grimm (Measure for Pleasure), directed by Kate Whoriskey (Ruined at MTC), opens tonight, March 18 at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street) in a strictly limited engagement through Sunday, April 27.

Screen Actors Guild Foundation and BroadwayWorld have partnered for an inaugural filmed Conversations Q&A series to recognize and celebrate the vibrant theatre community in New York City and the union actors who aspire to have a career on the stage and screen. The next Career Conversations will feature Kathleen Chalfant on March 19 (2PM)- currently starring in Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere of David Grimm's Tales From Red Vienna - and moderated by Broadway World's Richard Ridge of 'Backstage with Richard Ridge!' The event will take place at the NYIT Auditorium on Broadway (1871 Broadway - between 61st and 62nd).

CATHEY (House of Cards, The Wire) joins the cast of EXODUS: DREAMS OF THE PROMISED LAND IN ANTEBELLUM AMERICA, playing multiple roles including Solomon Northrup (Twelve Years a Slave) and the Abolitionist Frederick Douglass. Acclaimed actor and director Mark Ruffalo will share his reflections on for stage and film to students and faculty as The New School for Drama's 2014 Artist-in-Residence. As Artist-in-Residence, Ruffalo will join a master class for The New School for Drama's community of graduate students of acting. He will also speak with undergraduate and graduate acting, directing and playwriting students and faculty in an open forum on Tuesday, March 11 at 7:00 p.m. in Arnhold Hall, 55 W. 13th Street, 5th floor, moderated by Pippin Parker, director of The New School for Drama.

Sharon Bush, Philanthropist & Founder/Chief Executive Officer of Teddy Share, Arianna Huffington, Chair, President & Editor-in-Chief of the Huffington Post Media Group, and Joan Vail Thorne, playwright and director, are Women's Project Theater's 2014 Women of Achievement who will be inducted at its 29th Annual Gala Celebration at the Mandarin Oriental, 80 Columbus Circle, Monday, March 10, at 6:00pm.
