The Wooster Group has extended their previews of CRY, TROJANS! (Troilus and Cressida) through February 15 at the Performing Garage. The production is a re-working of their half of a 2012 collaboration with the Royal Shakespeare Company, focusing on the Trojan side of the drama as a pastiche American 'Indian' tribe.

The Wooster Group is currently developing a production of one of William Shakespeare's most enigmatic plays, Troilus and Cressida, translating it into a distinctly American idiom. The Group will present four weeks of preview performances of this new production, CRY, TROJANS! (Troilus & Cressida), from January 8-February 2 at The Performing Garage (33 Wooster Street).

Spearheaded by the New Museum's Department of Education and Public Engagement, R&D (Research and Development) Seasons will connect various projects in the galleries, Theater, and Resource Center around a new organizing theme each fall and spring. The inaugural fall 2013 R&D Season theme is Archives. Programming will be presented in the form of exhibitions, performances, screenings, artist residencies, online publications, an after-school program for teens, and family day activities. Artists will engage across many of these initiatives to realize projects that take multiple forms. The fall Archives Season explores archival forms, systems, processes, and concerns across a broad range of contemporary art and curatorial practices.

Each year, Radio Bloomsday ends its 7 hour nationwide broadcast of James Joyce's Ulysses with the book's final chapter - a two hour passion filled monologue, by the novel's heroine, Molly Bloom.

Radio Bloomsday, the annual 7 hour radio broadcast of artists interpreting James Joyce's Ulysses, will be heard coast to coast on Thursday, June 16th, 2011 on WBAI, 99.5 FM in New York City and on KPFK, 90.7 in Los Angeles. This year's international celebration of James Joyce's novel Ulysses will feature artists from New York City, Los Angeles, London and Dublin. The show will be streamed live on wbai.org
