Broadway in Bryan Park kicked off its 2015 program yesterday - and BroadwayWorld was on hand to capture the first day. This week's line-up included performances from the casts of STOMP, FUERZA BRUTA, IT SHOULDA BEEN YOU, WICKED and the help of Penn and Teller. Today's line-up will include performances from the casts of STOMP, FUERZA BRUTA, WICKED (Caroline Bowman, Kara Lindsay, Matt Shingledecker), and It Shoulda Been You (Farah Alvin, Jillian Louis, Edward Hibbert, Anne L. Nathan, Adam Heller).

BROADWAY BARKS announces their 17th annual star-studded dog and cat adoption event to benefit New York City animal shelters and adoption agencies. Founded by Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore, this event features celebrities from the hottest shows on Broadway.  The event, produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, will take place on Saturday, July 11 in Shubert Alley (located between 44th and 45th Streets, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue). The festivities begin at 3:00 p.m. where you meet all the adoptable dogs and cats; celebrity presentations of adoptable pets will take place between 5:00-6:30 p.m. This year's event will be co-hosted by Bernadette Peters and Andrew Rannells (The Book of Mormon, HBO's 'Girls'). The event is free and open to the public.

Later this week, 106.7 LITE FM will kick off its highly-anticipated, 15th annual lunchtime theatre summer series, '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park.' The 2015 program will present the best of Broadway, FREE to the public, on six consecutive Thursdays beginning July 9 at 12:30 p.m. ET on the Bryant Park Stage. Thursday's line-up will include performances from the casts of STOMP, FUERZA BRUTA, WICKED (Caroline Bowman, Kara Lindsay, Matt Shingledecker), and It Shoulda Been You (Farah Alvin, Jillian Louis, Edward Hibbert, Anne L. Nathan, Adam Heller).

On August 24th, cast members from the Broadway hit Newsies will reunite on the stage of 54 Below, exactly 1 year after closing. Audience members can expect to hear a variety of styles of music as well as stories and memories shared by the cast.

Beginning performances Sunday, July 5th, Wicked will welcome two-time Tony and Emmy Award nominee MICHELE LEE in the role of Madame Morrible. A veteran of the stage and screen, she is perhaps best known for her fourteen seasons as Karen Mackenzie on the landmark CBS television drama, 'Knots Landing.'

Christopher Gattelli's superb choreography - spirited and athletic, amazingly theatrical and awe-inspiring - may be reason enough to see Disney's Newsies, the show now ensconced at TPAC's Andrew Jackson Hall through Sunday, where it's entertaining audiences and eliciting some of the loudest responses we've ever heard in that cavernous space.

Wicked just welcomed ARIELLE JACOBS in the role of Nessarose and PJ BENJAMIN, who returns to the Broadway blockbuster in the role of The Wizard. They join a cast which currently includes Caroline Bowman as Elphaba, Kara Lindsay as Glinda, Matt Shingledecker as Fiyero, Kathy Fitzgerald as Madame Morrible,Timothy Britten Parker as Dr. Dillamond andRobin De Jesus as Boq. Beginning performances Tuesday, March 10, WICKED will welcome ARIELLE JACOBS in the role of Nessarose and PJ BENJAMIN, who will return to the Broadway blockbuster in the role of The Wizard.

During the week of Valentine's Day, Broadway's favorite couples, special guest Santino Fontana ('Frozen,' Cinderella), and musical director Benjamin Rauhala will celebrate Broadway romance, both on and off-stage during the second annual 'A VERY BROADWAY VALENTINE'S DAY.' Featuring many of Broadway's most romantic songs, and special stories from each couple, this concert makes for the perfect date-night!
