Thomas, Blesst Bowden, and Ashley Arnold.

Reprise Theatre Company's production of the Pulitzer Prize winning 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying' plays at UCLA's Freud Playhouse. The production began May 11 and runs through May 23. Opening night for the production is tonight, May 12.

It has been quite a year for director/choreographer Marcia Milgrom Dodge, who was recently nominated for Tony Award for her direction of the Broadway revival of RAGTIME last fall. A workhorse by admittance, Dodge has left herself little time to celebrate, as she finishes prep for the Reprise Theatre Company's production of HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING, which opens tomorrow May 12 and runs thru May 23 at UCLA's Freud Playhouse.

The 2009-2010 season of Reprise Theatre Company continues with 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,' 1962's Tony-Award-winning Best Musical, March 16 to 28 at UCLA's Freud Playhouse. Directed by David Lee, the production's book is by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.

Civic Light Opera of South Bay Cities and Executive Producer James A. Blackman, III proudly presents a full scale production with orchestra of BARK! THE MUSICAL! conceived by David Troy Francis, with book & lyrics Mark Winkler and Gavin Geoffrey Dillard, lyrics by Robert Schrock, and music by David Troy Francis. The show runs through Feb. 28.

When I first reviewed Bark! The Musical at the Coast Playhouse in 2004 for reviewplays, I said it was a musical 'worth yip, yip, yipeaying about. Woof, woof, woof for joy!' Well, now it's on a much bigger stage in Redondo Beach, and because of a fantastic cast and creative team this very intimate little show makes a pleasantly effective transition to its new venue.
