Cy Coleman and Carolyn Leigh's Little Me, the opening production of New York City Center's 2014 Encores! season, runs for seven performances, February 5 - 9. The show is directed by John Rando with music direction by Rob Berman and choreography by Joshua Bergasse.Little Me, Neil Simon's first musical, is the story of the glamorous Belle Poitrine (Rachel York as young Belle, Judy Kaye as older Belle), a self-invented celebrity who has spent her life in pursuit of wealth, culture and social position. Tony Award-winner Christian Borle will play all six of Belle's oddball lovers, who range from an innocent college boy to an octogenarian lecher to the dying king of a tiny European country that doesn't seem to exist. Nothing Like a Dame: Conversations with the Great Women of Musical Theater, a new book by Eddie Shapiro featuring interviews with 20 female musical theatre stars, launched earlier this week at the headquarters of Oxford University Press at 198 Madison Avenue. Attendees got to meet some of the dames of Dames including Laura Benanti, Judy Kaye, Debra Monk, Donna McKechnie, Donna Murphy, Lillias White and Karen Ziemba. Media Theatre, Media Pa. Celebrates 20 Years of Theatre!!

The book launch for Nothing Like a Dame: Conversations with the Great Women of Musical Theater, a new book by Eddie Shapiro featuring interviews with 20 female musical theatre stars, will take place January 27, 2014 from 6-8 pm at the headquarters of Oxford University Press at 198 Madison Avenue.

The Princeton Symphony Orchestra is celebrating 10 years of Broadway POPS! with a concert starring Michael Feinstein, master of The Great American Songbook, on Saturday, February 8, at 8 pm at Richardson Auditorium on Princeton University Campus. The concert continues a tradition of quality pops programming featuring top Broadway artists accompanied by the PSO, and will be conducted by Sam Kriger.

New York City Center's 2013-14 season continues with a lineup of dance, theater and music, featuring Tony Award-winning actors, world-class dance, and world premiere theater.

Robert Creighton, David Garrison, Harriet Harris, Judy Kaye, Lewis J. NEW YORK FESTIVAL OF SONG continues its new series NYFOS AFTER HOURS with “A GOYISHE CHRISTMAS TO YOU!” Yuletide Classics by Jewish Songwriters.

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Andrew Levine, Executive Director), presents acclaimed jazz vocalist Stevie Holland in the Off-Broadway premiere of the tour-de-force musical Love, Linda: The Life of Mrs. Cole Porter. Love, Linda has book by Ms. Holland with Gary William Friedman, music & lyrics by Cole Porter, and arrangements & additional music by Mr. Friedman. Tony Award-winner Richard Maltby, Jr. is the Director.

The Museum of the City of New York just presented legendary composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim with its Louis Auchincloss Prize at a gala dinner that included a musical tribute featuring Tony Award winners and nominees. Cabaret! will took place last night, November 19th; it was a rare opportunity to recognize a living legend, and in an intimate setting. Singing Sondheim favorites were some of musical theater's most talented performers, including Gregg Edelman, Harvey Evans, Judy Kaye, Howard McGillin, Victoria Mallory, and Sarah Stiles under the direction of Michael Montel and music director Larry Yurman. The Gateway's 2013 Holiday Season begins with the colorful, magical and whimsical children's musical, 'Moosletoe,' playing at Bellport's Gateway Playhouse, Nov. 23-30.

In Nothing Like a Dame, theater journalist Eddie Shapiro opens a box full of knowledge, through in-depth conversations with twenty leading women of Broadway. The new book will be released on Febuary 7th, 2014.

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Andrew Levine, Executive Director), and its acclaimed Developmental LAB Series presents the musical Buddy's Tavern, with Book by Raymond De Felitta, Music by Kim Oler, and Lyrics by Alison Hubbard. Peter Flynn directs, with choreography by Devanand Janki, and music direction by Mark Fifer. The seven-member cast features Andrea Burns, Wally Dunn, Darius de Haas, Alexander Gemignani, Jessica Grové and Joe Ricci. Angela DeCicco replaces previously announced Andrea Bianchi.
