This February, Joe's Pub at The Public presents a slate of shows to romance and titillate in honor of Valentine's Day. From today, February 10, through February 14 , every night will feature at least one show celebrating love and lust, including alt-pop singer Rachael Sage, cabaret goddess Bridget Everett, a night of Michael Jackson and Prince love songs led by Toshi Reagon, fiery soul star XAVIER and friends, the tantalizing Brown Girls Burlesque and the V-day edition of Never Sleep Alone. Judy Collins continues to thrill audiences worldwide with her unique blend of interpretative folksongs and contemporary themes. Her Grammy Award winning performances include “Both Sides Now”, an a cappella version of 'Amazing Grace' and the show tune 'Send in the Clowns', which led to a Song of the Year Grammy for its composer, Stephen Sondheim. “Amazing Grace” and “Send in the Clowns” transcend genre and style, a unique talent that this singer/songwriter displays almost effortlessly The Ridgefield Playhouse welcomes her backon Thursday, April 23, at 8 p.m. enthralling with her eclectic sound that embraces but surpasses rock, pop, folk and show tunes. Perennial New York art-pop singer Rachael Sage has confirmed plans for a Valentine's Day concert at Joe's Pub in New York City. The local event, set for February 10th with advance tickets available now, will showcase Sage and her band The Sequins (featuring drummer Andy Mac and cellist Ward Williams,) as well as other guest performers, to be announced in the weeks ahead. Sage's previous 'themed' concerts in NYC have earned a reputation for deft, tongue-in-cheek irreverence, and have garnered featured placements via Time Out NY, Good Day NY (FOX-TV,) Huffington Post, Gay City News, NY Daily News, New York Magazine, and more.

Eagles bassist Timothy B. Schmit will reunite with Poco band members at the Colorado Music Hall of Fame's induction concert on Friday, January 9, 2015, 7 p.m. at the Paramount Theater in Denver. Additionally, acclaimed singer-songwriter Nathaniel Rateliff has been added to the concert lineup and will join a tribute to Stephen Stills/Manassas. Even with its 'endless summer' weather, Orange County certainly embraces the spirit of the holidays. This year, audiences can look forward to four unique and fun-filled seasonal shows at Segerstrom Center for the Arts. The holiday concert season at the Center kicks off with beloved American singer/songwriter Judy Collins in her show, Holidays and Hits (December 6) performing an array of holiday classics as well as her inspiring interpretations of folk standards. This is followed by the whimsical and critically acclaimed show DR. SEUSS' HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! THE MUSICAL (December 10 - 14). The enchanting and ever popular Celtic Woman returns with the spirited show Home for Christmas - The Symphony Tour (December 15), and, finally, the popular Fiesta Navidad with Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano (December 23) rounds out the holiday programming with an evening of traditional Mexican songs and dance.
