Milwaukee Repertory Theater announced casting today for Gutenberg! The Musical, the first production in The Rep's 2012/13 season, and The Mountaintop, which opens this September.

There's a high-spirited celebration underway at the Drayton Festival Theatre as theatregoers are taken on a lively musical journey in this season's production of Johnny and June. Interweaving music and memories, this hand-clappin' salute to the incredible duo of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash is onstage now through August 11th.

After sell-out seasons across an 18 month Australia wide tour, a triumphant tour of New Zealand and a Helpmann Award for Best Contemporary Australian Concert, The Man in Black is returning to Her Majesty's Theatre in Adelaide for a limited six performance season from 11 - 15 September. Million Dollar Quartet is currently rocking The Toronto Centre for the Arts through the end of the week, and BWW had the opportunity to sit and chat with three of the four men responsible for bringing these iconic rock and roll characters to life each night. Martin Kaye (Jerry Lee Lewis), Lee Ferris (Carl Perkins) and Derek Keeling (Johnny Cash) tell us all about what it's like to portray such well known musicians, what the music means to them and why Million Dollar Quartet has something for everyone.

CMT has commenced production on four new series, CHAINSAW GANG and REDNECK INTERVENTION will debut this Fall; while FULL METAL RACKET* and ROCK RAIDERS* are slated to premiere in 2013.

In honor of Johnny Cash's 80th Birthday Year (he was born February 26, 1932), DW Entertainment along with the Madame Walker Theatre will present "June's Got The Ca$h"a Broadway style musical tribute show to the great songs and lives of Johnny Cash & June Carter.

Inspired by the electrifying true story, the national tour of the Broadway musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET will make its Toronto premiere on Thursday, July 12 at Toronto Centre for the Arts.

This show includes performances by The Vitals, The Chelsea Kills, Heavy C, Good Nature, and The Districts.

Z2 Entertainment will present The Gourds & James McMurtry at the Fox Theatre on Sunday, September 23rd. Tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, July 6th for $18.00 in advance and $21.00 day of show.

The Tony-nominated musical inspired by the famed 1956 recording session that brought together legendary rock 'n' roll icons Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley, celebrates its long run in Chicago, a multiple Tony-nominated New York run, a long-running London production and a national tour that kicked-off in October 2011.
