Producer Rick Murray will present two-time Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell in his Provincetown debut, Sunday August 6 for two performances only, 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. in the Paramount Theatre at The Crown & Anchor. Mr. Mitchell will be accompanied by acclaimed music director and conductor Mark Hummel.

In May 2017, the Vienna Philharmonic's annual Summer Night Concert was held for the first time directly in front of Vienna's Imperial Schonbrunn Palace. This 14th annual concert-conducted by Christoph Eschenbach and featuring soprano Renee Fleming-will be released on CD, DVD, Blu-Ray, and digital platforms by Sony Classical on Friday, August 11 and broadcast on PBS's Great Performances on Friday, August 18 at 9 p.m. (check local listings).

A founding resident company of The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia (COP) announces the inaugural year of a new annual season-long partnership with the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts. Beginning in the 2017/2018 season, The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia will be orchestra-in-residence at the Annenberg Center.

The Houston Symphony announced today that Mark C. Hanson, its Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer, will step down from his role this summer to join the San Francisco Symphony as Executive Director. Hanson, who has been at the orchestra's helm since May 2010 and holds the Margaret Alkek Williams Executive Director/CEO Chair, will begin his new post on September 1.
