The breathtaking and anticipated follow-up to the sheer screen and musical enchantment of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is back with the next film in the series. The Sony Centre has announced that the Toronto Symphony Orchestra will perform Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets October 12-14, 2017 continuing the global Harry Potter Film Concert Series after the breakout success of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Conducted by Joshua Gersen, the continuation of this breathtaking, much-anticipated film concert will see the film screened in high definition and in full on a 40-foot screen, as John Williams' incredible score is played live on stage by a world-class orchestra and choir.

Mr. Villegas, who captivated local audiences in a pair of electrifying concerts to conclude the Santa Barbara Symphony's 2015-16 season, will rejoin the orchestra for Joaquín Rodrigo's sensuous Concierto de Aranjuez as well as Isaac Albéniz's evocative Souvenirs of Spain at the Granada Theatre on November 18 and 19. He will also perform a solo concert at the Royal Presidio of Santa Barbara on November 16, and present educational programs for area children at The Granada on January 18 and 19. Additional events are being planned.

A founding resident company of The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia (COP) announces its 2017-2018 Season. From September 2017 through May 2018, the Chamber Orchestra will perform six programs as part of its subscription series. All six concert pairs will be performed in the Kimmel Center's intimate Perelman Theater.
