Cult sensation DINA MARTINA returns to New York with DINA MARTINA: MORIBUND at The Laurie Beechman Theater from September 22 - October 2.

In the fall, theater lovers from around the globe converge on Provincetown to celebrate 100 years of America's great playwright. Innovative productions of plays, short stories, comedy, dance and music give testimony that Williams' timeless words are alive today and moving into the future through the creative spirit of contemporary artists.

In June of 2002 I had an experience that would alter my perception on how good musical theater could be. That was when I saw "Hairspray" for the first time. It was the pre-Broadway run at the 5th Avenue Theatre. I had heard a bit of "Welcome to the 60's" on the radio commercial and thought to myself, "This sounds pretty good." Little did I know what I was in for the night I saw it. Little did I know that I would be introduced to one of my favorite shows of all time and to a character that I would long to play for years to come.

Broadway veterans Brandi Burkhardt and Robert Torti are set to lead the upcoming Pasadena Playhouse reading of SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE. The duo joins previously announced Marissa Jaret Winokur, who will play Becky in the project.

Auditions for New Line Theatre's CRY-BABY, in its first production since Broadway, will be held on two successive Monday nights, October 3 and 10, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. at the Washington University South Campus, 6501 Clayton Road (formerly CBC High School), just east of Big Bend, in the second floor theatre.

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's 2011 Season continues this summer when it brings the smash hit musical comedy Hairspray to the stage.

Dueting it for the Kids will be a night full of surprises with a massive roster of artists collaborating for one night only at Sydney's State Theatre on Monday 22 August.

All roles are open to auditions. Those auditioning must be 16 years or older (with the exception of LIttle Inez-auditioner for that role should be 10+) and should be prepared to sing from the show or in the style of the show. Auditioners will also be asked to perform a brief dance combination that will be taught at the audition. Please supply sheet music if your audition selection is not from HAIRSPRAY. Accompaniment will be provided.
