Los Angeles' premier cabaret room, The Catalina Jazz Club, hosts cabaret artist Karen Gedissman for a special performance tonight, January 27th at 7pm.

The Broadhurst Theatre box office opens tomorrow, Friday, January 25 at 10:00 AM for LUCKY GUY, starring two-time Academy Award-winner Tom Hanks, in the final work by three-time Academy Award-nominee Nora Ephron and directed by two-time Tony Award-winner George C. Wolfe. The Broadhurst Theatre is located at 235 West 44th Street. The production will play a strictly limited engagement. Opening night is Monday, April 1. Previews begin Friday, March 1.

According to the Daily Mail, this year's Oscar's show is now planning a salute to movie musicals that could include Meryl Streep, John Travolta, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway, as well as Samantha Barks.

Leading Australian theatre producer John Frost and London theatre impresario David Ian today announced that the ever popular musical GREASE will return to Australian stages later this year. Auditions will commence shortly for this new multi-million dollar production, and tour details will be announced in coming months.

This interactive presentation will take place on Friday, Jan. 25 at 8 p.m.; Saturday, Jan. 26 at 8 p.m.; and Sunday, Jan. 27 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

In a move almost too perfect, Sony Picture has annonced they've pushed the theatrical release date for CARRIE from March 15 to October 18 - just in time for Halloween.

ABC's New Year's festivities kick off at 8:00 p.m., ET with "New Year's Rockin' Eve Celebrates Dick Clark," a two-hour countdown of key pop culture moments from the amazing life of Dick Clark, hosted by Fergie in Los Angeles and Jenny McCarthy from Times Square. The special celebrates, through clips from "American Bandstand" and reminiscences, the legendary television personality and producer who rang in the New Year for four decades and who was an instrumental force in launching and nurturing the careers of countless artists. Ryan Seacrest also joins the hosts for a special appearance in honor of Dick Clark.
