Leading Australian theatre producer John Frost and London theatre impresario David Ian today announced that the ever popular musical GREASE will return to Australian stages later this year. Auditions will commence shortly for this new multi-million dollar production, and tour details will be announced in coming months.

Frost said, "I'm constantly asked when I'll be producing GREASE again - it's possibly the most requested musical in the back catalogue of the Gordon Frost Organisation. When the TV series Glee celebrated the music of GREASE on one of their recent episodes, and Olivia Newton John and John Travolta reunited for a charity Christmas album in December, I knew the time was right to bring GREASE back to Australia."

John Frost is on the lookout for the Danny and Sandy of today, and is sure to have a couple of surprise casting decisions to announce.

GREASE is the Number One Party musical, featuring all the unforgettable songs from the hit movie including You're The One That I Want, Grease Is The Word, Summer Nights, Hopelessly Devoted To You, Sandy, Greased Lightnin' and many more.

So get ready to dust off your leather jackets, pull on your bobby-socks and take a trip to a simpler time as "bad boy" Danny and "the girl next door" Sandy fall in love all over again.
