Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College is pleased to announce its 2015-16 music series. This year's lineup includes 61st Season opener Michael Feinstein, a children's favorite Black Violin, a reimagining of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by Art of Time Ensemble, a holiday concert by Vienna Boys Choir, Robert Glasper Trio, a jazz violin virtuoso Regina Carter, and a tribute to Nat King Cole featuring Ramsey Lewis and John Pizzarelli. These musical events reflect the artistic excellence and cultural diversity to which Brooklyn Center is dedicated.

Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College announces its 2015-16 Season of music, dance, theater, and family programming, reflecting the multicultural diversity of Brooklyn. Hailing from Austria, Russia, China, Canada, and across the United States, the awards-winning artists include both Brooklyn Center premieres and returning favorites. Tickets go on sale exclusively to Brooklyn Center Members on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 1pm, with general sales beginning on Thursday, May 14. Birdland was the scene of a very special show last night as friends and family gathered for the Wedding Celebration of Ann Hampton Callaway and Kari Strand. Broadway at Birdland and Jim Caruso's Cast Party have seen many famous and talented people on that legendary stage but it will be hard to top last night's list of guests. Broadwayworld was there and here are some of the friends and relatives of Ann and Kari.

Outdoor summer entertainment venue Music by the Lake, presented by George Williams College of Aurora University, announces its 15th annual season presenting six artist debuts and a range of musical genres and shows, including American classics, jazz, contemporary rock, comedy for families, pop and classic rock. The season, which includes weekend events from today, June 27 through August 8, features performances for all generations to enjoy.
