Moonbox Productions stages David Lindsay-Abaire's black comedy about a sixteen-year old girl with a rare disease that ages her rapidly. Allison Olivia Choat directs a cast of five who humanize these quirky, dysfunctional characters and allow us to feel how they live with the specter of doom hanging in the balance.

Moonbox Productions presents Kimberly Akimbo, the heartwarming and quirky coming-of-age play from Pulitzer Prize-winning South Boston native David Lindsay-Abaire (Rabbit Hole), tonight, April 3-25, 2015 at the Boston Center for the Arts Plaza Theatre, 539 Tremont Street, Boston. Performances are Thursdays at 7:30 pm, Todays/Saturdays at 8 pm, Sat/Sun matinees 2 pm. Documentary on St. John Paul II and America to Air on PBS, Catholic and Spanish TV

A new documentary on St. John Paul II and his relationship with North and South America will screen this month on PBS-affiliated stations and EWTN, the international Catholic network, helping to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the pope's death on April 2, 2005. The film was produced by the Knights of Columbus.

Royal & Derngate's Made in Northampton 2015 season starts in April with the sweeping epic, Cyrano de Bergerac. Directed by Lorne Campbell, Anthony Burgess' translation of Edmund Rostand's classic play is a co-production with Northern Stage, and takes to the Royal stage in Northampton from Friday 3 April, transferring to Newcastle from 29 April.

With hopes of inspiring the next generation of performers to follow their dreams and pursue their talents, the Poway Center for the Performing Arts Foundation provides Master Classes for local students as part of their Arts in Education Initiative. On Thursday, April 2nd, the kindergarteners through fifth graders at Pomerado Elementary will host special visitors for a personal Master Class with The Romeros, who celebrate 55 years as the 'Royal Family of the Guitar.'

Celebrating 55 years as the “Royal Family of the Guitar,” The Romeros have dazzled audiences worldwide and earned raves from fans and critics. Returning for an encore performance to the Poway Center for the Performing Arts, The Romeros will perform on Sunday, April 12th at 2:00 PM. Back by popular demand, this family of classical guitar masters will delight audiences in North County Inland, once again. Their last performance at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts sold out well in advance.
