HBO continues its satirical look at the week in news, politics and current events, LAST WEEK TONIGHT WITH JOHN OLIVER.

Stand Up for Heroes, New York's most impactful night of comedy and music, returns to the Theater at Madison Square Garden, Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 8 p.m. Presented by the Bob Woodruff Foundation (BWF) and New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), the star-studded occasion honors the sacrifice of returning service members, veterans and their families.

According to D.H. Lawrence, "We have made a great mess of love since we made an ideal of it." HOW I FELL IN LOVE centers on two lost souls, Nessa and Todd, each haplessly seeking their ideal romantic partner as they stumble into adulthood alone in the City of the Angels. When they accidentally find their way into each other's lives while seeking professional help, they soon discover their individual stories may be more intertwined than they could ever have imagined, leading each to start questioning the meaning of fate, friendship, and true love. Can two people not attracted to each other actually be perfect life partners? With the audience acting as their sounding board, Nessa and Todd's story unfolds amid the many twists and turns in their search for true love and happiness - despite their neuroses!

In 2007 Tommy was invited to the prestigious 'Just For Laughs' comedy festival in Montreal, Canada where he was the highest reviewed 'New Face.' He has also appeared at Comedy Central's 'South Beach Comedy Festival.'

LIPSHTICK - THE PERFECT SHADE OF STAND UP continues to bring the best names in comedy to Las Vegas with the announcement of a new show to the all-female comedy series. Hosts of MTV's late night show Nikki & Sara Live, Nikki Glaser and Sara Schaefer are set to co-headline the Lipshtick stage Saturday, Sept. 27.

John Oliver, comedian and host of HBO's new hit show Last Week Tonight, will appear at the Paramount Theatre on November 23, 2014 at 7:00PM.

Mark Normand, who just premiered a Comedy Central Half Hour special, will be appearing for one night only at The ComedySportz Theatre on Monday, September 8th at 8pm. He is teaming up with the producers of 100 Proof Comedy (named Chicago's 'Best Venue for Stand-Up' by The Chicago Reader) for an unforgettable evening of laughs.

John Oliver, the host of Last Week Tonight, announces a fall tour with 15 dates including a stop at DPAC, Durham Performing Arts Center, on December 5, 2014. His last two appearances at DPAC sold out in 2011 and 2013.

Today, Wells Fargo Center for the Arts announced two new shows in November at the Ruth Finley Person Theater (50 Mark West Springs Road, Santa Rosa). Grammy Award winning jazz pianist and vocalist Diana Krall appears Thursday, November 13, 2014. On Friday, November 21, 2014, Live Nation presents Emmy Award winning writer and comedian John Oliver. Tickets are $89.75 and $69.75 for Diana Krall and $45 for John Oliver.
