BWW Reviews: Keegan Does Justice to Kander and Ebb's CABARET

Even though 'Cabaret' is of the 'tried and true' variety of musical theatre and could have, therefore, resulted in yet another ho-hum production, Keegan's intimate setting, attention to detail, and mostly strong casting among the leads make this production ultimately memorable and, at times, even a bit daring.

Jeffrey Kuhn Joins the Cast of SILENCE! This Friday

Beginning this Friday, January 25th, Jeffrey Kuhn will assume the role of Dr. Hannibal Lecter's nemesis, Dr. Chilton, in Off-Broadway's smash hit SILENCE! The Musical. Following the announcement that SILENCE! would be ending its long run December 30th, ticket sales unexpectedly soared, shattering all previous box office records held by the show. As a result, the producers determined that the smash hit show would reopen on January 19th. After opening at Theatre 80 on July 9, 2011 to unanimous rave reviews, SILENCE! was extended numerous times by popular demand and transferred theatres twice, ultimately landing at the new Elektra Theatre which was constructed especially for the show.

Due to popular demand, SILENCE! The Musical will resume performances tomorrow, January 19th at the Elektra Theatre in the heart of Times Square. Following the announcement that SILENCE! would be ending its long run December 30th, ticket sales unexpectedly soared, shattering all previous box office records for the show so far. As a result, the producers determined that the smash hit show will reopen on January 19th. Originally announced as a strictly limited engagement through August 13, 2011, SILENCE! was extended numerous times by popular demand and transferred theatres twice, ultimately landing at the new Elektra Theatre, which was constructed especially for the show. SILENCE! opened at Theatre 80 on July 9, 2011 to unanimous rave reviews and spawned a highly successful L.A. production starring Davis Gaines and Christine Lakin.
