Following a successful run at the Arcola Tent in Dalston this summer, the producers of Penny Arcade's B!D!F!W! (Bitch! Dyke! Faghag! Whore!) are thrilled to announce a new collaboration with The Old Vic Tunnels, where the show will run for 18 performances only from tonight, 8 August - 1 September 2012 with a press night on 10 August.
United Solo Festival Presents One Hundred Productions in Its Third Year, 10/11-11/18

The world's largest solo theatre festival, established in 2010 at Theatre ROW on 42nd Street in Manhattan, has grown to more than twice its original size. One hundred solo productions will be presented between October 11 and November 18, 2012, among them fifteen shows by artists who successfully performed at the United Solo Festival in the past.

A celebration of the life of John Neville will be held in Stratford today, July 15. Mr. Neville, who was Artistic Director of the Stratford Shakespeare Festival from 1986 to 1989, died on November 19. He was 86.

Center Theatre Group Artistic Director Michael Ritchie has set the 2012-2013 season at the CTG/Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City. In a season of contrasts - of surprising comedy and startling drama, the 2012-2013 season at the Kirk Douglas Theatre will include the magical and mystical hi-jinks of the CTG-commissioned "Elephant Room" by Trey Lyford, Geoff Sobelle and Steve Cuiffo; the acclaimed Gate Theatre Dublin production of the Beckett classic "Krapp's Last Tape" with one of Britain's greatest actors, John Hurt; the comic genius of The Second City with their unique, satirical twist on a Dickens's favorite - "A Christmas Carol: Twist Your Dickens!" written by Peter Gwinn and Bobby Mort; the world premiere of the otherworldly drama "The Nether" by the 2012 Susan Blackburn Smith prize-winning playwright Jennifer Haley; and the world premiere of the powerful boxing drama "The Royale" by Los Angeles playwright Marco Ramirez.

United Solo, the world's largest solo theatre festival, annually recognizes theatre artists for popularizing the form of the one-person show. The New York-based festival has unveiled the following nominees for its special 2012 uAward: Kathy Griffin in "Kathy Griffin Wants a Tony" (The Belasco Theater), John Hurt in "Krapp's Last Tape" (Brooklyn Academy of Music), Hugh Jackman in "Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway" (The Broadhurst Theatre), and John Leguizamo in "Ghetto Klown" (The Lyceum Theatre).

Ms. Nixon will read selections from Emily Dickinson's letters. The event will take place on Thursday, April 19, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. at The Stanley H. Portland Center Stage welcomes veteran screen and stage actor Daniel Benzali to the Gerding Theater to star in the upcoming production of Red. Written by Oscar-nominated screenwriter (Hugo) and playwright John Logan, Red will be directed by PCS Associate Artistic Director Rose Riordan. The production begins preview performances on Tuesday, February 21, opens on Friday, February 24 and runs Tuesday through Sunday through March 18, 2012. Tickets start at $34, with student and under-30 discounted tickets available for $20. Rush tickets are $20.
